Abstract
A shaving apparatus (1) with an upper cutter (11) which has at least one hole configuration (17, 18, 19) for co-operation with a lower cutter, and with information indicia (16) which are formed by characteristics (20, 21, 22) which are associated with a respective hole configuration (17, 18, 19) and provide information on the function of the hole configuration (17, 18, 19) concerned, is structured such that the characteristic (20, 21, 22) associated with a hole configuration (17, 18, 19) is provided directly in the area of the hole configuration (17, 18, 19) and hence on the upper cutter (11) with the hole configuration (17, 18, 19).
