Abstract
A silver salt photothermographic imaging material is disclosed, comprising a support provided thereon with a light sensitive layer containing an organic silver salt, a light sensitive silver halide, a reducing agent and a binder, wherein at least one side of the support is provided with a sublayer containing a metal oxide in an amount of 5 to 50% by volume and the surface of the sublayer exhibiting a maximum height (Ry) of not more than 0.1 &mgr;m.
