Abstract
Method of production of transgenic plants wholly transformed into To generation. The method consists of a) genetically transforming a meristem explant; b) selective culturing for the specific development, among all the transformed cells, of those cells giving rise to secondary meristems and/or those cells capable of resulting in neoformed foliar meristems, c) regenerating, from the cellular material obtained during step b), transgenic plants.
