Abstract
A dampening water composition for a lithographic printing plate including at least one compound represented by formula (I) and at least one compound represented by formula (II): wherein R1 represents an alkyl group having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, R2 represents methyl group or a hydrogen atom, and n is an integer ranging from 1 to 3; wherein R3 and R4 are each independently methyl group, ethyl group, or isopropyl group; a lithographic printing process for producing printed matters using a soybean oil ink in combination with the above dampening water composition.
