Abstract
A coating apparatus has a paint supply device, a mouthpiece for dispensing a paint supplied from the paint supply device, and a stage for holding a coated object. A 10-point average roughness Rz of a surface of the mouthpiece facing the coated object is not more than 1.0 &mgr;m.
