Abstract
Provided is a catalyst system for polymerization of monomers having at least one Ziegler-Natta polymerizable bond, comprising:a) a supported Ziegler-Natta transition metal catalyst having a magnesium component modified with a metallocene catalyst component, such that the ratio of magnesium component to metallocene component is within the range of about 1:1 to about 4:1, during its synthesis or production; andb) an effective co-catalyst.
