Abstract

A sealing film is used for sealing a solar cell, and including an EVA film formed of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin. The sealing film has concavities formed by embossing. A percentage defined by VH/VA×100% is in a range from 20% to 50%, wherein VH is the total volume of the concavities per unit area of the sealing film, and VA is the apparent volume of the sealing film which is the product of the maximum thickness of the film and the unit area.
