The invention relates to thermoplastic nanocomposites comprisinga) a thermoplastic (A), in which from 0.1 to 10% by weight of the monomer units present in component (A) bear ionic groups, andb) at least one phyllosilicate (B), uniformly dispersed in component (A).The invention further relates to a process for preparing these nanocomposites, and also to their use.
