Abstract
The present invention relates to an iceberg lettuce having one or more romaine lettuce characteristics. The invention further relates to methods for producing iceberg lettuce varieties containing one or more romaine lettuce characteristics, represented by lettuce variety ‘PSR4569’ and by lettuce variety ‘PSR4570’. These lettuce varieties were produced by crossing lettuce variety ‘salinas88’ with lettuce variety ‘PI206964’.
