Abstract
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the hepatoprotection and treatment of liver diseases comprising as an active ingredient a dihydroxyphenyl derivative represented by the following formula (1), pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt or stereochemical isomer thereof together with a pharmaceutically acceptable inert carrier: in whichin whichA, B, D and E are defined as described in the specification.
