Abstract

Proposed is a simple and cost-effective method that enables a safe operation of a motor vehicle comprising an electrical braking system with a parking brake.During the parking of the motor vehicle, measuring processes are carried out in a certain time interval spacing, in which measured values of at least one vehicle-specific characteristic parameter are determined. In connection with the measured values determined in the measuring processes, a current desired value for prescribing the brake force for the parking brake is determined.
