Abstract
A method for treating hair which comprises:first contacting said hair with a substantially inactive mixture of oxidative hair dye precursors; andallowing said mixture to remain in said hair for a period of about 30 seconds to about 60 minutes;followed by contacting said hair with a developer to achieve long lasting hair color change, is described.
