Abstract
Opposing piezoelectric elements bordering a boundary between neighboring nozzle groups have point symmetry. Hence, even if a gap is opened up between actuator units due to necessity in assembly, rows of the nozzles are not offset. Accordingly, even a series of nozzle groups are combined in a conveyance direction of a recording medium, width of an inkjet recording head is not increased. Further, because the rows of nozzles are not offset, there is no requirement to offset discharge timings for each actuator unit, and output of image data does not become complex. Thus, lengthening can basically be implemented with two piezoelectric plates. Consequently, production yields can be improved.
