Abstract
A high brightness green-emitting phosphor is described. The phosphor has the general formula:(Y(1-x-y-z)GdxTbyLaz)BO3where0.01≦x≦0.4,0.01≦y≦0.1, and0<z≦0.2.The phosphor exhibits an enhanced brightness under VUV excitation which is desirable for plasma display panels.
