Abstract
A subject of the present invention is a process for preparation of fluorinated ketones corresponding to general formula (I) R1—CO—R2 in which R1 and R2 are as defined in claim 1, characterized in that it consists of reacting two carboxylic acids of Formula (II), R1—COOH and Formula (III), R2—COOH, in the gaseous phase and in the presence of a catalyst comprising at least one oxide of an element chosen from the rare earths, thorium, titanium and aluminum.
