Abstract

A Rubber Composition is provided that comprises a rubber and a composite pigment composition, with the composite pigment including a dense inorganic material and silica. The pigment composition is characterized by a CTAB surface area of greater than about 20 m2/g; a BET surface area of greater than about 25 m2/g; and a density of greater than about 2.5 g/cm3.
