Abstract

A disinfectant composition and process for making the same. The composition comprises octenidine dihydrochloride, at least one C1 to C8-alkyl alcohol, at least one surfactant chosen among non-ionic or cationic surfactants, water and optionally at least one α-hydroxycarboxylic acid.
