Abstract
An apparatus for vibratingly smashing sand masses, comprising a sand tank (30) elastically supported and having an inner tank (33) therein for holding sand masses; and vibrating means (21) having unbalanced weights for vibrating the sand tank, including the inner tank, by rotating the unbalanced weights, such that the vibrations of the sand tank draw a Lissajous's figure of approximately a circle. The inner tank (33) is defined by a wall (31) disposed in the sand tank apart from the inner surface (30A) of the sand tank (30), the wall (31) having a plurality of apertures (32).
