Abstract
When content is downloaded, the terminal device writes such content into a data storage region only accessible by a system application program. Upon completion of formal procedures, the terminal device decodes the content stored in the data storage region into an another region from which the content can only be read out using a user application program. This successfully prevents unauthorized use of the content as far as it resides in the data storage region, and ensures safe content distribution through a network.
