The invention relates to washing-softening rinsing formulations containing betaine ester derivatives which can be hydrolysed and liquidic esterquat-softening rinsing formulations for the controlled release of surfactants and a method for improving the washing performance of washing agents by using the washing-softening rinsing formulations.
