Abstract
The present invention relates to a fresh gas supply system for an internal combustion engine, in particular of a motor vehicle. A fresh gas distributor can be connected on the inlet side with a fresh gas feed line, and on the outlet side to an internal combustion engine by means of several connection pipes. The connection pipes are allocated in each case to a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine. An improvement in the fresh gas supply system can be achieved in that a bypass resonator or Helmholtz resonator is connected to the fresh gas distributor, which, at a predetermined revolution speed of the internal combustion engine, improves the fresh gas filling of the combustion chambers by resonance charging.
