Abstract

A battery container capable of stably accommodating AA type batteries, a CRV3 battery, and a customized battery manufactured for exclusively use with a particular device. The battery container includes a main body which accommodates two AA type batteries, one CRV3 battery, or one customized battery wider than the CRV3 battery and having a first wrong-insertion preventing element in a lateral extension portion, and a cover which is opened or closed to allow a battery to be inserted into or drawn out of the main body and which keeps the battery in the main body during use. The main body includes an upper portion, a lower portion in which a wrong-insertion preventing protrusion for the CRV3 battery and a second wrong-insertion preventing element, which corresponds to the first wrong-insertion preventing element of the customized battery, are formed, a front portion having a front opening through which a battery is inserted or drawn out, a rear portion to which two rear electrodes contacting electrodes of the inserted battery are fixed, a first side portion, and a second side portion opposite to the first side portion.
