Abstract
An aqueous ink comprising at least one dye having at least one ionic hydrophilic group within a molecule thereof and represented by the following formula (1):wherein A and B each independently represents a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent aromatic group or a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent heterocyclic group, R1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group excluding an unsubstituted phenyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group, and R2 represents a substituent.
