Abstract

An object of the present invention is to provide recording paper and label paper with excellent waterproof properties, reduced curling from heat when used as recording paper in a heat-fixing type electrophotographic printer, a heat-fixing type electrophotographic copier or a direct heat-sensitive printer, excellent paper delivery properties, and capable of providing continuous printing of multiple sheets. A further object of the invention is to provide recording paper and label paper with excellent waterproof properties as the base materials of masking seals and re-covering-preventing labels, and requiring no special process to start peeling. The present invention provides recording paper comprising resin film (A) containing a thermoplastic resin, and at least one of inorganic fine powder and an organic filler, wherein the heat of crystallization is 60 J/cm3 or lower, and label paper using the same.
