Abstract
A method and a device controls a rotary tablet forming machine having a rotor. The rotor is capable of being rotated by a drive unit. The rotor includes at least one matrix with allocated upper punches and lower punches and a pressing force, to act on the press mass filled into the at least one matrix is determined. The determined pressing force (PKactual) is compared with a pre-specifiable limit value (PKlimit) and, with a level going below the limit value (PKlimit). Then, required speed (nr) of the rotor can be reduced to a speed below the rated speed (nr-rated).
