Abstract

A metallocene compound of formula (I) wherein M is zirconium, hafnium or titanium; X is hydrogen, halogen, or a hydrocarbyl radical optionally containing heteroatoms; R2, R3, R4 and R5, are hydrogen or hydrocarbyl radicals; R6 is a hydrocarbil radical; L is a divalent bridging group T is a radical of formula (II), (III), (IV) or (V), wherein R8 and R9 are a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbyl radical. with the proviso that at least one group among R1, R5, R6 and R8 is a group of formula C(R11)2R12 wherein R11, equal to or different from each other, is an hydrocarbyl radical; and R12 is hydrogen or an hydrocarbyl radical. These compounds are fit for the preparation of propylene copolymers.
