Abstract
A polyimide-containing liquid crystal alignment treating agent having a structure of the formula (I) incorporated therein,wherein Q is a single bond or a divalent organic group, R1 to R4 represent aromatic groups, and R1 to R4 may be the same as, or different from, one another.
