Abstract

An aqueous ink comprising at least two dyes each having at least one ionic hydrophilic group in a molecule thereof, wherein at least one of said at least two dyes includes an azo dye represented by formula (1):wherein A and B each independently represents a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent aromatic group; or a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent heterocyclic group; R1 represents a hydrogen atom; a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group; or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group; and X represents —CR2═ or a nitrogen atom, and when X represents —CR2═, R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent.
