Abstract
The invention relates to a polyester film with a thickness of from about 4 to about 23 μm, which comprises, alongside polyethylene terephthalate as main constituent, from about 2 to about 20% by weight of polyethylene naphthalate (based on the weight of the film), and has fewer than 30 pinholes per 100 m2. The invention further relates to a process for producing these films, and to the use of the films in packaging composites.
