Abstract

Method for setting up an isochronous data stream connection between at least one entry terminal or talker and at least one addressee terminal or listener connected by at least one bridge of a digital bus networ. At least some of the bridges are associated with an isochronous delay that is parametrizable and the method comprises the following steps: (a) obtaining at least one routing path comprising one or more bridges, including at least one bridge with parametrizable isochronous delay; (b) for each bridge included in the at least one routing path, obtaining the value or possible values of the isochronous delay of the bridge; (c) for at least one bridge with parametrizable isochronous delay included in the at least one routing path, selecting the value that must be taken by the isochronous value of the bridge, so that the stream connection taking the at least one routing path incurs a predetermined total isochronous delay; (d) for the at least one bridge with parametrizable isochronous delay included in the at least one routing path, adapting and instantiating at least one resource of the bridge, so that the parametrizable isochronous delay of the bridge takes said selected value.
