Abstract
The invention concerns a base station (100) comprising a transmission antenna (1) consisting of several radiating elements (2) for transmitting one or more radio signals (E1, E2, , EN) to one or more addressee terminals (200). Said radio signals are generated from signal components (S1, S2, , SM) to which are applied phase shifts (D1, D2, , DN). The adjustment of said phase shifts brings about a systematic fluctuation of at least one transmitting direction of the antenna during the transmission of the radio signal, so as to provide diversity of propagation paths.
