Abstract
This invention provides a rare earth-transition metal (RE-TM) alloy structure comprising a RE-TM alloy substrate and a noble metal diffusion barrier disposed thereon. The noble metal diffusion barrier may be provided on the surface of the alloy substrate by an electroplating technique.
