Abstract
An oil-based ink for piezoelectric inkjet printers contains a binder resin, a pigment and a solvent. The solvent contains a cyclic ester and a compound represented by the following formula (1):wherein X1 represents an alkyl group, X2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, and n stands for an integer of from 1 to 4. The amount of the cyclic ester is from 1 to 60 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the compound represented by the formula (1). Preferably, the cyclic ester is a compound represented by the following formula (2):wherein X3 and X4 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-7 alkyl or alkenyl group, and m stands for an integer of from 1 to 3.
