Abstract
The invention is directed to an ultra thin pressure sensitive adhesive construction suitable for the high speed application of label mounting equipment. The labels include a polyethylene film having a density of from 0.917 to 0.924 g/cm3 and a thickness of less than 1.8 mils; a pressure sensitive adhesive on one surface of the film; and a release composition coated paper liner having a thickness of less than 2.2 mils releasaby attached to the pressure sensitive adhesive.
