Abstract
A novel snap pea cultivar, designated Sugar Heart, is disclosed. The invention relates to the seeds of pea cultivar Sugar Heart, to the plants of pea line Sugar Heart and to methods for producing a pea plant by crossing the cultivar Sugar Heart with itself or another pea line. The invention further relates to methods for producing a pea plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic plants produced by that method and to methods for producing other pea lines derived from the cultivar Sugar Heart.
