Abstract
Fluorinated paracyclophane compounds represented by the formulawhere least one of R1 and R2 comprises a fluorinated moiety is disclosed. These compounds can be utilized as precursor dimer compounds to produce polymeric coatings comprising copolymers of trifluorinated paraxylylene.
