Abstract
According to the invention, there is provided a tapered roller bearing in which, where D represents a larger end diameter of the tapered roller and L represents a roller length thereof, the roller length L is 18 mm or smaller, and a ratio of the large end diameter and the roller length of the tapered roller which is expressed by D/L is in the range of 0.55 to 0.9. In addition, respective raceway surfaces of the outer ring and the inner ring and rolling contact surfaces of the tapered rollers are crowned, and a total crowning amount is set to be 50 μm or larger, an outer ring crowning rate is set to be 40% or larger, and a roller crowning rate is set to be 20% or smaller.
