The at least one illumination means is capable of linear movement along a radial axis of the camera lens and pivotal movement about the radial plane incorporating radial axis and alignment axis. In such a manner, the circle of light emitted by the at least one illumination means is constantly directed to the centre of the ophthalmic lens.
