Abstract
A diaphragm for a loudspeaker drive unit (1), the diaphragm comprising a block of material having a first, sound-radiating front face (20) and a second, rear face (22). The block is stiffened by being bound about over the first and second faces (20,22) by a multiplicity of turns of one or more elongate members of flexible material (36) stiffened by a stiffening composition.
