Abstract
A novel pea cultivar, designated FP2278, is disclosed. The invention relates to the seeds of pea cultivar FP2278, to the plants of pea line FP2278 and to methods for producing a pea plant by crossing the cultivar FP2278 with itself or another pea line. The invention further relates to methods for producing a pea plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic plants produced by that method and to methods for producing other pea lines derived from the cultivar FP2278.
