Abstract

A multi-speed transmission with reverse and forward gears, planetary gear sets, seven shafts and six shifting elements. The input shaft couples gear sets (P2, P3). Shaft (3) couples the carrier of gear set (P1), the ring gear of gear set (P2), and gear set (P4), and is connectable to the housing. Shaft (4) couples the carrier of gear set (P4) and to the ring gear of gear set (P3), and is connectable to the housing. Shaft (5) couples the carrier of gear set (P2), is connectable to the housing, and via a clutch (56) to the shaft (6), which couples the ring gear of gear set (P1). Shaft (7) couples the carrier of gear set (P3), and is connectable via a clutch (27) to the output shaft (2), which couples the ring gear of gear set (P4); the sun gear of the planetary set (P1) couples the housing.
