Abstract
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for retrosealing, by means of induction sealing, an intersection zone (12) between two overlap joints (6, 11) in an at least partly formed packaging container (1) comprising a first and a second packaging part (2, 3). The first packaging part (2) is tubular and produced from a sheet of thermoplastically coated packaging material comprising at least one layer of an induction heatable material. The second packaging part (3) is sealed to the first end of the first packaging part (2).
