Abstract

A device (1) for treating containers (10) with a nozzle device (4) which fills the container (10) with a gaseous medium, wherein the nozzle device (4) can be introduced at least partly in a mouth (12) of the container (10). Furthermore a wall body (6) is provided which surrounds completely at least one area of the nozzle device in the peripheral direction, and a sealing device (8) to seal a space (R) between the container (10) and the wall body (6).According to the invention the sealing device (8) can be pressed in a substantially radial direction against the outer periphery of the mouth (12) of the container (10).
