Abstract
Method for connecting two or more metal sheets or profile parts, especially of an automobile body segment as well as said automobile body segment.A method is described for joining two or more metal sheets and/or profileparts of which typically one is a high strength steel with the following steps. With the method according to the invention in particular in the motor vehicle sector automobile body segments can be produced which display qualitatively very high quality point weld joints.
