Abstract
A method for constructing a conductor assembly of the type formed of one or more coil rows which, when conducting current, generate a magnetic field or in which, in the presence of a changing magnetic field, a voltage is induced. In one embodiment comprises forming a conductor pattern in a first coil row according to the relationshipX(θ)=[h/(2*π)]θ+ΣAn sin(nθ+φn)Y(θ)=R cos(θ)Z(θ)=R sin(θ),the first coil row pattern suitable for simultaneously generating at least two multipole orthogonal field components of different orders, wherein:
