A dual diversity receiver is provided that includes two antennas to receive a radio signal, where each antenna produces an antenna signal that is representative of the received radio signal. The receiver includes first and second LNAs that receive the respective antenna signals and output first and second amplified signals. The receiver also includes logic to determine the stronger antenna signal and select one of the LNA outputs for processing by the receiver.
