Abstract

The invention is concerned, inter alia, with a belt retractor (10) for a seat belt, with a belt reel (20) for winding up and unwinding the seat belt, and a lockable locking flange (40) which is connected to the belt reel and, prior to a locking action, is rotated together with the belt reel and, after a locking action, is blocked in its rotational movement.According to the invention, it is provided that the locking flange and the belt reel are secured against relative axial displacement.
