Abstract
A cutting tool insert is formed from a substrate selected from cemented carbide, cermet, ceramics, cubic boron nitride based material or high speed steel. The insert includes a hard and wear-resistant coating formed from laminar polycrystalline metal nitrides layers. The laminar polycrystalline metal nitrides layers have a repetitive form . . .
