Abstract
A ramp system for efficiently transferring a wheelchair or other vehicle from one vertical end of the ramp to the other. The ramp system generally includes a ramp including a slot, wherein the slot extends through the ramp along a longitudinal length of the ramp between an upper end and a lower end of the ramp, a drive assembly mounted proximate the ramp and a catch tool connected to the drive assembly, wherein the catch tool travels between the upper end and the lower end of the ramp via the drive assembly, wherein the catch tool travels within the slot of the ramp.
