Abstract

The invention relates to a liquid-crystalline medium based on a mixture of polar compounds, characterized in that it comprises one or more compounds of the formula Iin which R1, X1, L1-5 have the meanings indicated in Claim 1, and to the use thereof for electro-optical purposes, in particular TN monitor applications.
